Peter is an interesting character in the Bible, because he's both very flawed, and very revered. He tries to send Jesus away, telling him "depart from me, I am a sinful man," he denies Jesus three times, and Jesus rebuked him more sharply than any other person, saying "Get the behind me, Satan." And yet, it's Peter upon whom Jesus decided to build his church. Why would God choose such a flawed person? Maybe because Peter was the only one who had the faith to step out of the boat and walk on water towards Jesus. That's the sort of faith we need to see breakthroughs in the spirit and in the natural.
